Terms and Conditions
We offer a late check-out time of 12 noon to help you make the most of your stay. Your check-in time is between 3pm and 8pm.
The boat has been developed as a couples’ retreat and is not designed for the safety of children so please don’t book children under the age of 12 as they cannot be permitted.
Julie Fay is a strictly non-smoking area.
Sorry but from experience we have a No Pet policy. We understand that people would like to bring their pets but all nature’s creatures feel safe approaching the paddle-wheeler and we don’t want to scare them away.
Parties and events are strictly prohibited. Julie Fay B&B is not for the purpose of hosting anyone other than those who have officially booked. As a surveyed and registered boat, strict capacity regulations apply so please don’t be tempted to invite visitors.
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations made within 48 hours of making the booking will receive a full refund providing it is not within 5 days of check-in.
Cancellations made 5 or more days before check-in will receive a full refund minus a service fee of $50.
If you cancel within 1-5 days of your stay, the first night will be non-refundable, but the cost for the remaining nights will be refunded.
For bookings made after 25/9/20: If you cancel on or after your first night of your stay, the first two nights will be non-refundable but the cost for any remaining nights will be refunded to you.
Please note that, as a food production area, Renmark is fruit-fly free. You cannot bring any fruit or vegetables across the border from Victoria at all. You can only bring fruit and vegetables from Adelaide if you have an itemised receipt to prove that you purchased them in South Australia.
Some times are not always peaceful on the river: Despite our relatively secluded position, the river will be very busy on long weekends and school holidays.
Duck hunting season could run anytime between February – June so call us if you want to know when the season is open.
The Dinghy Derby runs in February and September and there will be dinghies practicing in the weeks leading up to the race.
